Safe celebration of Sant Joan with less firecrackers
The main objective of the governmental campaign this year is to avoid minors to encounter with powerful pyrotechnic articles. Last year 269 people in Catalonia have been injured in the night of Sant Joan, the majority of them were minors who had launched firecrackers that were prohibited for their age. The campaign of this years celebration of Sant Joan therefore wants to sensibilize the points of sale and the parents to the high danger of the powerful pyrotechnic articles and that they may only be launched by people older than eighteen years. To raise the peoples awareness of the danger of firework, about ten thousand placards have been distributed among schools and youth centres, district offices and points of sale throughout Catalonia. These placards contain general advices how to avoid accidents with pyrotechnic articles.

Good dispatch and this mail helped me alot in my college assignement. Gratefulness you for your information.
Maybe the government should consider setting much stronger limits. Whether it's a minor or an adult, letting a firecracking explode in crowded, public areas can result in severe accidents. I was an innocent tourist who got caught in a wild Sant Joan celebration on the beach. My europe trip was cut short, and 6 months later i am still recovering from the 2nd degree burns i have endured to the entire backs of my legs. The pain is indescribable and the emotional healing is just as hard. I am lucky it was JUST my legs, but it could have been much worse. THIS IS WHY RULES AND LIMITS NEED TO BE SET.
Any civilized country should set laws about public safety and forbid the use and sales of fireworks!! ESPECIALLY IN CROWDED AREAS.
Again a fair post. Offer your friend
